Inspiration
Two proverbs resonate with me. One by Erich Kästner from my German heritage and the other from my husband’s New Zealand heritage…
“Es gibt nichts Gutes, außer man tut es” – There’s nothing good, unless you do it.
Erich Kästner
“Hutia te rito o te harakeke, Kei whea te komako e ko? Ki mai ki ahau; He aha te mea nui o te Ao? Maku e ki atu, he tangata, he tangata, he tangata.”
If the heart of harakeke was removed, where will the bellbird sing? If I was asked, what was the most important thing in the world; I would be compelled to reply; It is people, it is people, it is people!

They guide me, they keep me grounded and empower me at the same time. Feel free to be part of my journey – both the weaving one and the photography as well. Connect with me through various channels and means and meet me along the way.
