Products

All products are made in New Zealand from New Zealand Flax and other natural fibres using traditional Maori weaving techniques. Some of our products may contain seashells, pumice or driftwood as an accessory (this may be a problem for some overseas deliveries, please check with your quarantine services about any restrictions in this regard).

Privacy

Your privacy is essential to us. We do not share your details or any information with others. We may keep your details on file for future orders.

Payments

Payments can be made by direct deposit, direct credit/debit card via secure checkout, PayPal, or in some instances, Cash on Pickup. Payments are due immediately, but no later than 1 week after the invoice date. Only when accounts are settled in full will items be shipped. Please note:

• Interest will be chargeable at 4% per month on overdue amounts.
• Any costs of collecting overdue monies will be payable by the customer.

For large orders, we require a 20% non-refundable deposit at the time of order confirmation, with the final balance payable on completion of the order. Special payment & delivery terms will be given for any piupiu or other custom orders.

Shipping

We ship anywhere in New Zealand and the world. We process your order and payment upon receipt. You will receive an email with the total cost within 48 hours including postage/packaging.

Shipping costs vary; within New Zealand, we use Aramex couriers or NZ Post, and for international shipping, we use International Post with Cover (insurance). It can take 5 -14 working days to arrive.

Please note that you might have to pay taxes or customs charges in your country of residence when importing goods.

Please check with your Customs agency regarding this. We will give you a postage quote before processing your order so that you will know the cost.

Out of Stock/ Custom Orders

If the product is not in stock, or you ordered a custom-made product, we will advise you of the expected wait time and keep you posted about the status of your order.

Currency

Our prices are in New Zealand dollars. GST 15% applies to all sales within NZ, and prices shown include GST.

Return Policy & Guarantee

When you buy products handmade of natural fibres and colours, the actual products vary from the ones shown in pictures on our website (they are all unique – none is the same as any other). As a result, we will not accept any returns due to incorrect expectations.

Dye: If a dye powder or liquid package appears less than full, it’s likely due to the settling of the powder during transit or the nature of the packaging from the manufacturer. The actual amount of dye in the packaging is stated on the package itself.

Refunds and exchanges will not be considered after the item has been used, if the buyer changes their mind or if the item is not ‘what you expected’. However, if your product is faulty, we will gladly replace it at no extra charge (postage may apply).

We will accept returns for products provided that:

• Goods are returned or exchanged within 14 days from the purchase date (exclusions apply – see above). After this period, you may not be entitled to a refund or exchange.
• The goods are in their original condition and have not been used or damaged in any way.

We reserve the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods before offering a repair, an exchange, or a refund. This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused.
